Watch them give special exemption to IPL and only apply these rules to other leagues.
So I was at a local net session in Birmingham and who walks in? Mir Hamza. Had a chat then watched him practice. The way these guys so effortlessly generate pace and swing is amazing. And he is a lot taller than he looks.
I told him when he was younger, I wanted him to be picked for the National side. His response was unfortunately some things are not in their control. We discussed the upcoming SL series and flat tracks. His response was that pitches do not matter to players at Int’l level. What matters is how you perform. He wilo be representing Warwickshire in a 4 day match this week.

Not too long ago Rehan ul Haq and Hasan Cheema parted ways with IU after years of being the brains behind the franchise. Today, Haider Azhar has parted ways with Multan Sultans. He was considered the brain behind that operation.

Good to see some PJL standouts like Basit Ali, Arafar Minhas, Shawaiz, Shamyl. Zeeshan all in the squad to get some experience in these conditions. Wish they scheduled some FC matches too but this is a good start.
Hope they schedule some FC matches for the A team before the national team goes there so players who aren't playing in the WC can get used to Australian conditions prior. Players like Abdullah/Saud/Faheem/Abrar etc aren't going to be in the ODI squad so it would make sense to have them playing some matches there beforehand.

Rohail Nazir to lead Pakistan Shaheens on tour of Australia
The Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed wicketkeeper-batter Rohail Nazir as the Pakistan Shaheens captain for the Top End T20 Series in Darwin, Australia, which is being organised by Northern Territory Cricket (NTC) from 30 July to 6 August.

The picturesque city of Hambantota, located in Sri Lanka, is set to host Afghanistan’s three-match home ODI series against Pakistan, according to a media report.
The selection of Sri Lanka as the venue was made with the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 in mind, which is set to take place from August 30 to September 17 and will be jointly held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
While the official schedule for the series is yet to be released, the three matches are expected to take place in the third week of August.
President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Shammi Silva, during a press conference on Tuesday, also confirmed that they are in contact with Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) regarding the aforementioned series.
